GI Series polypropylene filter is constructed of an advanced melt-blown technology that produces graded-density depth media structure with progressively loose filtration matrix from inside toward outside.   The large gradients design increases dirt loading capacity and enables it to retain particles throughout the filter matrix rather than on a single surface, reducing the potential of filter premature plugging and providing a long lasting filter performance.  The filtration matrix is formed by intertwining micro-fibers without using any binder resins.  As a result, Duraklean? Series polypropylene filter shows minimal fiber releasing and media migration and broad range of chemical compatibility.
